We are currently searching for a Senior Director of Inventory Planning at our Dodgeville, WI corporate headquarters. This position is accountable for leading a critical category within the U.S. Consumer division through the successful development, execution and communication of financial and inventory plans and strategies to meet or exceed sales, gross margin, GMROI and inventory goals. This is a key role on the Inventory leadership team, accountable for the continual success of the division including articulating vision, measuring and developing talent, and ensuring successful operations of teams.

Responsibilities:
Manage and drive financial results that maximize sales, margin, and inventory to achieve our financial goals.
Collaborate with cross functional peers to develop and communicate a comprehensive inventory strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities by business unit.
Oversee the development and execution of pre-season and in-season inventory plans and strategies that support merchandising, marketing and financial objectives.
Hindsight historical performance and current trends to identify risks and opportunities for the business.
Oversee the development of monthly forecasts of sales, margin, and inventory to achieve business unit financial plans, proactively communicating results and action plans within the leadership team and cross functional partners.
Create a collaborative, innovative, and results oriented environment with peers, divisional, and cross functional partners.
Balance workload priorities across division and departments to ensure successful execution of inventory management; manage expectations around key deliverables with cross functional team, direct reports and peers.
Ensure team readiness, resource utilization and issue resolution for key milestones
Drive career and skill development of teams to ensure employee engagement and future talent development.
Oversee continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop tools/systems knowledge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

years inventory management experience in a multi-channel environment, including direct and retail
Strong leadership skills to establish clear direction and a challenging environment that brings out the best in people
Able to develop constructive and effective relationships with direct report team and cross-functional partners; able to maintain credibility and presence within the broader business.
Strong understanding of the financial measures of an apparel brand; able to evaluate financial indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
Strategic agility to create and articulate competitive strategies, with a natural ability to balance strategic intent with business management to meet business priorities.
Strong business acumen with an ability to anticipate risks and identify contingency plans to minimize disruption to the business.
Demonstrates strong listening and communication skills; able to present business strategies and action plans.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
