As a member of the Design Division you will report to and work closely with the Director of Concept & Art to establish the color trends that align with the integrity of the Lands' End brand and the customer. The individual in this role will be an excellent communicator and strong leader with a point of view that is based in industry knowledge, experience and an understanding of current trends in the market.
4 to 5 years experience managing color department. Forecasting, researching and creating palettes for multiple categories. Expert in color research, ability to identify emerging trends in color. Strong knowledge of color trends and strategies for a growing apparel and accessories business.
Adapt color trends in the market to align with the Lands' End Brand and customer. Ability to build concept walls/boards and presentations Ability to filter trends, edit and apply through a brand lens. Work closely with Director of Concept to create overarching palette and further divisional palettes seasonally. Working seasonally on the concept presentation. Work closely with divisional Design directors to identify business and emerging color needs per division. Manage color team, coaching and supporting growth. Work closely with concept team in NY to ensure color tools are represented in NY and at company headquarters in Dodgeville WI.
