The Lands' End Business Outfitters (LEBO) E-commerce Merchandiser is responsible to create a compelling customer experience through execution of online merchandising and marketing strategies. Reporting to Director of Merchandising, this merchant will work closely with product merchants to drive sales strategies, develop integrated marketing plans and create an engaging experience on-line.
Key
Responsibilities:
Optimize product sales using web metrics i.e. average order value, conversion rates, gross margin and other key metrics.
Drives and ensure SEO optimization collaborating with creative team.
Creates, maintains and audits site and all content to optimize and for accuracy. Collaborate with creative teams to drive and translate merchandising and marketing strategies to online for homepage, tabs email's, merchandise assortments and custom landing pages.
Launch new products as seasonally appropriate partnering with product merchants and creative.
Responsible for continuously optimizing taxonomy and the site navigation experience. Suggest and participate in A/B testing.
Recommends and requests working marketing and planning site promotional activity and reports effectiveness.
Manage Facebook and other social media promotional messaging.
Conduct competitive analysis of competitors' sites, and also stay current on e-commerce best practices; make site project / enhancement recommendations in order to improve the customer experience, site conversion rates, and total revenue.
Be the expert in the hybris ecommerce platform and other Lands' End systems.
Skill requirements
5-8 years experience in multi-channel apparel industry with e-commerce expertise.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
Proven experience working cross functionally.
Strong understanding of financial measures of an apparel brand and channel specific financial drivers.
Comprehensive awareness of competitors and market trends in e-commerce.
Profiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet specific deadlines.
The ideal candidate has a blend of creative and analytical capabilities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
