Job details Description As the Lead Application Functional Specialist - Retail & Payments, you will directly contribute to the growing success of Lands' End's omni-channel business. You will leverage a deep technical and functional knowledge of retail systems to help deliver and support store platforms like Point of Sale (POS), digital signage, store kiosks and clientelling applications. You will also use your experience with payment solutions to help Lands' End maintain and enhance acceptance of electronic payments across all selling channels. You will provide technical and functional oversight to a talented and motivated team comprised of Lands' End internal resources and consultants focused on delivering retail business objectives. This role will also focus on building scalable process, system, and implementation standards that will facilitate the growth of our brick-and-mortar and digital selling channels. Reporting Reports to IT Senior Manager of Store and Payment Capabilities Responsibilities Act as a functional and technical subject matter expert of retail and payment systems, as well as their integrations with omni-channel systems Assist with organizing, leading, and prioritizing team tasks through scrum or similar methodologies Assist support teams in refining effective retail incident trend identification, issue communication, escalation procedures, and knowledgebase creation. Seek out and implement process improvements that create efficiency for retail and payment systems Partner with technical and functional team members to create and maintain system documentation Lead cross-organization, multi-functional teams in a collaborative approach to solution discovery, design, development, QA and deployment Research and stay current on retail, payment and omni-channel industry trends and technologies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required 2 years' functional systems analysis/engineering experience in a corporate IT environment 1-2 years of Retail industry knowledge required, including experience with retail POS, digital signage, and omni-channel integrations such as OMS and WMS 1-2 years of experience with integrated payment systems, acquiring banks, and underlying standards and protocols such as PCI, EMV and Tokenization Experience with cloud-based application deployment and integrations desired Strong logical and technical problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to build relationships, and effectiveness collaborating with technical and business partners Strong professional verbal, written and persuasive communication skills Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines Proven experience building relationships with internal and cross-functional team members Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment Some experience with Agile methodology and tools such as JIRA and Confluence desired Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
