This auction is for a Conn Model 6D Double French Horn. The Serial Number is N15355 and this dates it to 1970. Made in Elkhart Ind. USA. Comes with the Conn #2 Mouthpiece and Conn Case. Check Ebays Shipping Calculator for cost. Normally it will cost around $25 to $60 for Fedex shipping to the lower United States. Worldwide Shipping also available. Please include your postal/zip code with all shipping questions. This Horn is in overall good condition it plays and sounds wonderful! There are some smaller dents and dings as you can see and the lacquer is worn and has scratches and some red spots in the worn areas. The horn could use a complete cleaning and polishing to look and sound its best. The 4 valves operate smoothly and feel good when played. The tuning slides are free and slide well. The Mouthpiece has some scratches and wear but still a good piece to use. The Conn Case has a few painted letters and numbers on the outside and could use cleaning but still a good original case to use.
